On Aqua Classic, every cabin on the second floor has a balcony: twelve of the boat’s 22. Aqua Hospitality Group checks you in at its waiting lounge at 27B, Tuan Chau International Marina. The two-day trip covers the main Ha Long Bay sights on the first afternoon, Sung Sot Cave and Titov Island, then takes you to Luon Cave by kayak or bamboo boat at 07:15 the next morning.

The operator’s booking page, read on 11 October 2026, priced the three-day trip leaving that day per cabin for two adults: Standard $390, Deluxe $600, Suite $735 and the Family Suite $1,200. Those are whole-trip figures for two nights. The page showed no two-day rate, so for one night this is a price on request. The widget quotes US dollars, while the operator’s terms say rates are set in Vietnamese dong and move with the date, so ask for the total per cabin, with the cabin class named.

What does the boat give you?

A short, busy programme on a 22-cabin boat. The operator calls Aqua Classic a five-star boutique cruise, and we list it among our luxury cruises. The two Suites are 30 m², each with its own balcony and a bathtub. Nine Deluxe cabins of 20 m² also have a balcony and a walk-in shower. The restaurant sits on the second floor and serves European and Asian food, with a set fusion menu at dinner on the first night. The operator’s room pages also promise a fruit plate in the cabin and a birthday cake if your birthday falls on the sailing date.

How is the two-day trip timed?

These are the operator’s own times for the two-day programme.

Time What happens
11:45 Check in at the waiting lounge, 27B Tuan Chau International Marina
12:10 Board, safety briefing and welcome drink
12:45 Lunch while the boat heads into the bay
14:15 A stop at Bo Nau (Pelican) Cave, then a tender to Sung Sot Cave
15:45 Titov Island: swim, sit on the beach or climb the steps to the viewpoint
17:00 Back on board as the boat moves to its overnight anchorage
18:00 The chef shows how a few Vietnamese dishes are made
19:15 Set dinner, which the operator calls fusion
20:30 Squid fishing or karaoke in the restaurant
06:00 Tai Chi, up on the sundeck
06:30 A light breakfast in the restaurant
07:15 Luon Cave: paddle a kayak, or sit in a rowed bamboo boat
09:00 Check out; luggage is collected from outside your door
09:45 Brunch as the boat sails back
10:45 Disembark at Tuan Chau

The three-day trip runs the same first evening and the same final morning. On the day between, a smaller boat leaves at 08:00 for Trinh Nu Cave and Rooster Cave, which you explore by kayak, then goes on to the Three Peach area of Lan Ha Bay, with lunch back on board and a swim at 13:00. A pearl farm follows at 14:00, or Me Cung Cave if you have already seen one. At 17:00 the sky bar runs a buy-two-get-one happy hour. If you are weighing the extra night, read two days or three days first.

Which Aqua Classic cabin is worth the money?

The Deluxe, for most couples. Sizes and counts come from the operator’s room pages; prices are its three-day rate for the 11 October 2026 departure, per cabin for the whole trip.

Cabin Floor Size Cabins Sleeps Balcony Bathroom 3 days, 11 Oct
Standard 1st 18 m² 10 2 adults no, big window walk-in shower $390
Deluxe 2nd 20 m² 9 2 adults + 1 child yes walk-in shower $600
Suite 2nd 30 m² 2 2 adults + 1 child yes bathtub $735
Family Suite 2nd 40 m², two bedrooms 1 4 adults + 1 child yes one, walk-in shower $1,200

Ten of the 22 cabins are Standard, downstairs, with a window and no balcony. On that 11 October rate the step up to a Deluxe was $210 per cabin over two nights, and the Family Suite cost the same $1,200 for one to four adults. The two-day gap is not published, so ask for both quotes for your date. Our guide to what your cabin gets you compares floor, size and balcony across the fleet.

What comes with the fare?

The room pages list the meals in the programme, kayaking, cave visits and sightseeing tickets, the cooking class and a tea demonstration. They add Wi-Fi, satellite TV, water, tea and coffee in the cabin, fruit juice as you board, and an afternoon fruit party with drinks. Decoration for a honeymoon, proposal or anniversary is free; tell them when you book. The room pages list no other drinks, so ask for the bar list. Arrange the road from Hanoi separately; our guide to getting from Hanoi to Ha Long explains the options.

The operator’s terms say children up to 4 sail free, one per cabin, and children from 5 to 10 pay 75% of the adult rate when sharing with parents. Its booking form counts 5 to 11 as children, so confirm an 11-year-old’s rate in writing. Send full passport details at least 24 hours ahead: the operator charges VND 2,500,000 per booking for changes after 10:30 on the day. Check-in runs from 11:00 to 12:00, and late arrivals pay for a speedboat out to the boat.

What do guests who name Aqua Classic say?

Little, so far. We read every review on its Google listing, where 48 are visible, but the listing is named “Aclass cruises” and sits at the group’s marina office, so most reviews do not say which boat the guest sailed on. Four English reviews name Aqua Classic. A June 2026 guest travelling with family praised the activities and an enthusiastic crew. A July 2026 guest found the cabin clean and well equipped and the food to their taste. Another in July found the rooms comfortable.

We read “Aclass” as short for Aqua Classic: the listing’s website is aquaclassiccruises.com. It is not the Aclass Cruises Group of Stellar and Elite of the Seas.

Is Aqua Classic a good fit for you?

It fits couples who want a balcony and the standard Ha Long route, and who are happy to get a written quote before they book. Families of up to five fit the Family Suite, if it is free. Paddlers get two kayak outings on the three-day trip and one at Luon Cave on the two-day; our kayaking in Ha Long guide explains what to expect.

When is another boat the better buy?

When you want a one-night price on the table before you talk to a sales team, or when you would take a Standard cabin and mind the missing balcony.

What doesn’t add up on the operator’s site?

The operator’s home page says 22 cabins and its four room pages add up to 22 (2 + 1 + 9 + 10). Its About page says 21, in a paragraph that also names Aqua Legend and promises an in-room Jacuzzi bathtub. We treat that text as copied from Aqua Legend and claim nothing from it.

The gallery and deck-plan pages show the group’s larger Aqua of the Seas, and a Vietnamese room page carries that boat’s price list; none of it describes Aqua Classic. The Deluxe page prints “01 double bed and 02 single beds” for a room that sleeps two adults and a child, while its photos show either a double or a twin layout, so say which you want in writing. The operator’s page for transfers from Hanoi returned “Page not found” when we crawled it.

Neither the operator nor Tripadvisor gives a launch year, hull material, length, number of decks or guest capacity, and none of the four reseller sites we track listed the boat when we read them on 6 August 2026. Nobody publishes them. The operator’s terms waive the cancellation fee 14 days or more before departure and charge no-shows in full, yet say conditions vary by rate. Get yours in writing; our cancellation policies guide lists what to ask.

Why people book Aqua Classic

Book it if

  • You want the main Ha Long circuit on a boat of 22 cabins: twelve of them, all on the second floor, have a balcony
  • You are travelling as a family of four or five: the single Family Suite has two bedrooms in 40 m² and takes four adults and a child, and the operator's terms let one child aged 0 to 4 sail free in each cabin
  • You want a proper second day: the three-day trip adds Trinh Nu and Rooster caves by kayak and a swim at Three Peach beach in Lan Ha Bay
Our read

Aqua Classic sells the standard Ha Long programme from Tuan Chau on a 22-cabin boat, with a balcony in every cabin upstairs. On the operator's three-day rate for 11 October 2026 a Deluxe with a balcony cost $210 more per cabin than a Standard without one. We would pay it, ask for the two-day figure in writing, and get the boat's full name on the confirmation.

Good to know

Who should look at something else
  • You want a one-night price before you enquire; the operator published only a three-day rate, for a single departure on 11 October 2026
  • You would book the cheapest cabin and want a balcony; the ten 18 m² Standard cabins are on the first floor with a window and no balcony
  • You want a long, well-documented track record; only four English reviews on the boat's Google listing name Aqua Classic
What to ask before you pay
8
8 questions, each one tied to something this boat does not publish. Almost none of the cruise pages we surveyed tells you what to ask. Take this list to whoever quotes you.

The moneyWhere the spread hides

What is the single-occupancy supplement?
Not published by any source we read. Common on this coast and often +50% or more.
Child and infant rates?
Not published for this boat by any source we read — the child tables we found are the sellers’ own, identical across every boat they list. Ask for the age bands, not just the discount.

The logisticsThe mistakes that cost a morning

Confirm it is Tuan Chau Marina.
Named by one source only. The piers serving these bays are roughly twenty minutes apart and drivers do occasionally go to the wrong one.
What time is check-in, and what time is cabin checkout?
No source we read publishes either for this boat. Confirm both when you book, especially if you have a flight on the last day.
Which stops does the 3 days · 2 nights add?
The route list we publish is the union across itineraries; no source says which legs the longer trip reaches. This is usually the reason to take it.

If it goes wrongNobody publishes this — get it in writing

What happens if the port closes for weather?
The provincial authority closes the port and every boat stays in. No source publishes this operator’s policy. Ask whether it is a refund or a date change, in writing.
Which cancellation ladder applies to your booking, and what deposit?
We found 7 different ladders across our sources for boats on this coast — free cancellation ends anywhere from 15 to 30 days out. It depends on who you book through, not on this boat. Get yours in writing before the deposit.
Is a cave closure refunded or substituted?
Caves close at short notice here. Substitution is normal; a refund is not. Worth knowing which you are agreeing to.
We do not host guest reviews yet, and we will not reprint a score we cannot audit. This list is what we would want in their place — take it to whoever quotes you, us included.
Boarding times and the cancellation ladder

The boat's own timings

No source we read publishes check-in or checkout times for Aqua Classic Cruise. Ask when you book — on this coast checkout is usually between 09:30 and 11:00, and the difference decides whether you get a last morning on the water.

Cancellation — not a property of this boat

We checked every cancellation ladder in our sources. They differ by who you book through, not by which boat you sail: the same boat carries different terms on different listings. So we will not print one and call it Aqua Classic Cruise's policy.

Across the 7 distinct ladders we found, free cancellation ends somewhere between 15 and 30 days before check-in. After that the fee climbs to 100%.

How many cabins does Aqua Classic Cruise have?

aquaclassiccruises.com (crawl 2026-10-11) home page "22 high-end cabins" and its four room pages add up to 22 (2 + 1 + 9 + 10), but the About page says "21 high-end cabins" in a paragraph copied from Aqua Legend; the Tripadvisor listing description says 22 (read 2026-10-10). Shown value is 22. We show the most widely reported figure and recommend confirming it with the operator before you pay.

Which pier does Aqua Classic Cruise leave from?

Tuan Chau Marina, according to one of the sources we read — we could not corroborate it. The piers serving these bays are roughly twenty minutes apart and drivers do occasionally go to the wrong one, so name it when you arrange your own transfer.

What do you not know about this boat?

No source we checked publishes: launched, hull, capacity, decks, length m. A further 3 figures rest on a single source. We would rather say that than fill the gap with a guess. If the operator sends us the figures we will publish them and date them.
